When working on the computer, don't you find it annoying when you had copied something only to be distracted and engage in another task, which eventually overwrites or overruns whatever you had copied?
You find yourself in a situation where you have to think and retrace your steps to find that item and copy it again.
This is a common occurrence since copied content are overwritten when one copies another item or switches off the computer.
However, Windows 10 has a way to solve this problem by allowing the User to retrieve a copy-paste history of items that one had copied in the recent past.
When using this feature for the first time, you can activate it by pressing the Windows and V keys simultaneously (Window + V).
Turn it on by clicking the ON button that is displayed.
When activated, you only press the Windows key + V to access the copy-paste history function.
A copy-paste clipboard emerges at the bottom-right space on the screen, which displays all the items including pictures and texts that you have copied in the recent past.
Every time you copy an item, it is stored in the clipboard and all you need is click on the item to paste it.
The user can also delete, clear, or pin the contents on the copy-paste clipboard by pressing the 3-dot icon on the top right corner on each content.
Additionally, the feature enables you to copy multiple items that you had saved by selecting one of the saved item from the list and pasting it into your preferred program.
All you have to do is copy the items you want and soon as you open the program on which you want to paste, press Windows + V to retrieve all the items that you had copied.
