Sankara, one of Nairobi’s five star hotels, is joining the Marriot International’s Autograph Collection brand.
Sankara Nairobi will rebrand in 2019, joining the portfolio of more than 150 independent properties around the world.
The hotel is owned by Westalnds Hotel Limited which associated with Kenya’s former Attorney General Charles Njonjo and billionaire businessman Baloobhai Patel.
The 156-room five star hotel is located in Woodvale Avenue, Weslands, 5 kilometers from the CBD.
A hallmark of hospitality in Kenya’s capital city, the Sankara Nairobi shares the brand’s values of vision, design and craft and its’ exactly like nothing else mantra.

The hotel will have a live show kitchen, a New York-style steakhouse, a Paris-inspired Opera Patisserie, a delicatessen and wine bar. The property also has a rooftop pool and bar as well as a champagne bar.
