Saitoti's Widow Summoned to Court over Alleged Child Abduction
The widow, Margaret Wanjiku Saitoti is to appear before the High Court Family Division
High Court has summoned the Late Former Vice President Prof George Saitoti’s widow after a Nakuru man accused her of abducting and stealing his son.
The widow, Margaret Wanjiku Saitoti is to appear before the High Court Family Division after Sebastian Maina Ngunju filed for custody of Saitoti’s son Zachary Musengi.
Mutava insists Zachary is his son and was abducted by Mrs Saitoti and her agents 30 years ago.
The court summons were today presented at Saitoti’s Lavington, Nairobi residence and received by two Administration Policemen at the gate as Mrs Saitoti was not at home.
The new suit had been filed at the Civil Division and certified as urgent and transferred to Family Division as it concerns the issue of family matters.
The process server Justus Sila Mutava served at Saitoti residence at 2.30 pm and was received by 2 AP officers. He informed them of his purpose of the visit and accepted receiving it.
The matter has a new HCCC No.10/19 high court family division. This is the second time they are visiting the residence without finding her according to the court process server.
Court is on vacation matter shall be heard when the court resumes.
Mrs Saitoti has been summoned to appear in court within 15 days from the day of serving.
